What are the historical origin of Halloween? We are right when we say
 that this is a party that doesn't concern us? The history of this 
ancient celebration has its origins in Europe, the founders of this 
Festival are the Celts, with migratory flows at a time the United States
 of those who are romantically called Pilgrim Fathers recurrence has 
simply moved to the new lands occupied by Europeans, mainly Anglo-Saxons
 who have simply transferred to their new address their own customs and 
traditions. Thus dispelling the first myth: Halloween is was born in the
 old continent.
In Irish the Hallow e'en form is nothing more than a contraction of 
All Hallows ' Eve, which is the eve of all Saints ' day. In addition, 
for the Celts, the new year began on November 1, Halloween was the 
Celtic new year marking the arrival of winter and a real social 
withdrawal and work. The Celts lived mainly by farming, animals with the
 arrival of the cold season were reported downstream and conducted heat,
 men closing in home building and drawing tools set aside provisions 
during the warm months. It was an important rite of passage, we 
delivered to the forces of nature, they surrendered us hoping for 
kindness.
The Celts believed that on the night of October 31 the spirits of the
 dead, who lived in a plain of eternal youth and happiness called Tir 
nan Oge, they wandered undisturbed trying a body which seize back to 
life. The living, to save their souls, had to scare the spirits through 
masks and scary. The fires were lit and animals sacrificed in order to 
appease the spirits; food, milk and basic necessities were left to each 
home inputs in order to feed the dead, evaded their needs would have 
perhaps saved the souls of the living.
